Title of Project: Bergen Count Prosecutor's Office: Homicide Detectives

Decscription of Project: Craig learned how forensic science was used to solve two murders. He looked through solved cases to gain an understanding of how the cases were solved, specifically cases where forensic science was used.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: The main benefits Craig recieved from doing this project was seeing if he enjoyed this kind of work. Since Craig is a criminal justice major, he needs to make sure this is something he wants to do for a long time.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: A lot of details goes into doing a project on forensic science. He had to be very careful when handling samples because they could become easily contaminated.

Title of Project: Tactical Radio Design and Production at Thales, Inc.

Decscription of Project: Timothy tested deiiferent types of radios that are used by firefighters and the military.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: Timothy got to use high tech radios and see how they impacted people's lives.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Obstacles that Timothy had to encounter were frequency and signal problems with the radios.

Title of Project: Stereotypes in College Sororities

Decscription of Project: Lindsey found out the major stereotypes in place against sorority women.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: Lindsey was able to gain an understanding of what the students think about women in sororities.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: The main problem Lindsey encountered was people not answering her questions truthfully.
